I am an Intensivist by profession and a self-published poet by hobby. I have known Dr Munita for quite some time as a senior work colleague in the Intensive Care Unit of Northwick Park Hospital in London. She has always been a great mentor, highly respected and admired in the professional circles. Over the years, working at different NHS hospitals across London as part of my career plan, I encountered some tough times and rather depressing circumstances, which made me realise that I was feeling, stuck. The pandemic was the final nail in the coffin and completely shattered my work-life balance to the point where I could not find my way back to normal. I felt withdrawn and a bit lost from both personal and professional perspectives and suffered from numerous health issues as a result. This was when Dr Munita came to my rescue.

Dr Munita has always been someone I had admired a lot as a person as well as a colleague and I really felt excited when she agreed to be my life coach. I had never had a life coach before as I considered myself strong enough to deal with life issues and find my own path forward. However, I had reached a threshold of being self-reliant and was looking for some guidance and motivation when I started taking sessions with Dr Munita.

Dr Munita is an active listener and a communicator par excellence. We commenced our sessions by recognising the areas of life that I needed to work upon to realise my full potential and to release myself from the web created by my own mind. Dr Munita helped me concoct a stepwise plan to start my journey towards self-improvement. The ground rule was ‘small achievable steps’ and ‘accountability’. During our sessions, Dr Munita gauged my interests, strengths and weaknesses and formulated objectives based on her overall impression of me. She ensured that we met regularly to discuss the progress and motivated me to take my life choices in my own hands and move forward without wasting any more time and energy in ruminating about past experiences. Her calm and confident demeanour filled me with excitement and her words of motivation were the icing on the cake.

As we progressed through the sessions, I could feel an enormous change in myself. My health issues started resolving as soon as I took charge of them based on Dr Munita’s support. I started believing in my choices and myself more and made peace with most of the emotional turmoil I had been going through. I engaged in self-compassion and took little steps towards a bigger goal always envisioning the desired outcomes. Dr Munita also ensured that the support and plans were tailored to my needs and abilities so I never felt overwhelmed. She kept reiterating the importance of manifestation and accountability and helped me recognise and appreciate my personal values.

I would happily recommend Dr Munita as a life coach to all my friends and family who are looking for a better life but don’t know how to approach the idea. Dr Munita is certainly one of those people who make you face your fears and overcome them in the most self-compassionate way. I am glad to be her client and would keep working on my life-goals following her guidance.
